CHALLENGE: ABNORMALS AFFECTING SITE VIABILITY
This 13-acre site was a former Astra Zeneca chemical facility which contained extensive ground contamination requiring remediation.
ACTION
Full remediation strategy conducted prior to start on site including capping layer
CMC Piling used to support heavy superstructure including steel frame with metal cladding
Groundworks also included lime stabilisation together with extensive attenuation and retention utilised to prevent spread of contaminates into River Irk basin
All materials recycled on site creating zero landfill
